Opening Ceremony for our New School

Today was a very special day for St.Peters, as we were fortunate to welcome Bishop Thomas to celebrate Mass, to formally open our School with it's brand new wing. The mass was a wonderful celebration of the children's talents. It opened with a tremendous play showing the role of St. Peter in the early church. Children throughout the school were involved, all of whom read beautifully. It culminated in a beautiful dance by some of the members of the St.Peter's Dance Troupe. All of the visitors were then invited to a celebratory lunch and a guided tour of the rebuild. The children enjoyed an afternoon of fun and entertainment, with many classes enjoying parties. On Monday Group 2 went into the Porth Yr Ogof Cave system.Your intrepid children tackled The Letter box, Sarahs Passage,The Rat hole, The Zoom and Death ledge amongst other difficult challenges. More pictures from underground will appear on the Trewern Website soon.
